RESEARCH METHOD:
Volunteered at a memory care facility for 7 months.
This project was born out of on-the-ground user research. While volunteering at the memory care facility, I learned that Alzheimer patients and their caregivers had trouble maintaining adequate dental hygiene. As this evolved into a product solution, I continued to test each of the features and design choices with users. The photos below depict how I worked with patients to tailor the handle, grip, and plug specifically for the needs of Alzheimers patients.
